At the Moersleutel 9Y Anniversary Party in Alkmaar, we’re proud to launch a very special quartet of bottles from our wild ales sibling project: Zomerdijk Brewing & Blending.

Each of these wild ales is named after one of the four Zomerdijk children—family, cousins, and lifelong companions who grew up alongside the four Moersleutel brothers. The result? A sour-leaning, barrel-aged tribute to shared history and fermentation finesse.

Fenna – Bordeaux Barrel Wild Ale (7%)

Vibrant and fruit-forward, Fenna balances funk and acidity with ripe red fruit and oak.

Maaike – Bordeaux Barrel Wild Ale (7%)

A bright and assertive mixed-ferment wild ale aged for 26 months in wine barrels.

Maaike is the most tart of the four—zesty and full of energy, perfect for fans of sharp sours.

Renske – Bordeaux Barrel Wild Ale (7%)

26-month barrel-aged wild ale with mild acidity, light funk, and hints of stonefruit.
