Moersleutel Motor Oil 750ml imperial stout on a black plinth

Packaging shown for illustration purposes only. Not included.

Thick like something you would put into your car engine, the Moersleutel Motor Oil is our variation on the classic Russian Imperial Stout, clocking in at 12%. It is deep black in color with a strongly roasted malt aroma, and hints of chocolate, coffee and vanilla are prominent in this beers flavor. Motor Oil is one of the craft beers from our core range and can be labeled our flagship stout.

Moersleutel Motor Oil is one of the 7 brews in our core range.

Gift Motor Oil

Motor Oil is the bottle for someone who already knows what a big stout tastes like. At 12% it is meant to be sipped, not gulped, which makes it a gift that gets opened on a quiet evening rather than passed around at a party.

A 750ml bottle is enough for one slow evening, or to share with someone you like. It pairs well with dark chocolate, a coffee dessert or a cold winter night. Pour it into a tulip glass and let it warm slightly, so the roast and vanilla come forward.

Why it works as a gift

It is a stout for the friend who already has opinions about stouts. The deep roast, chocolate and coffee character gives a clear reason to open it, and the 750ml format makes it easy to give without committing the recipient to a whole evening.
