Brewed for Kaaskoppen, but loved by everyone.

The nickname “kaaskop” likely dates back to the time of Napoleon and refers to Dutch farmers who used wooden cheese barrels as protective helmets. In addition, the residents of Alkmaar are locally known by this nickname because of their historic cheese markets.

Classic liquorice, also known as “Engelse drop”, this pastry stout layers earthy liquorice root with creamy vanilla, raw coconut and rich molasses. Special B malt ties everything together with notes of raisin, burnt caramel and a hint of stroopwafel crust, creating a stout that’s sweet, spicy and surprisingly smooth from start to finish.

A nostalgic sweet shop favourite, reimagined the Moersleutel way.

Orbit Key

Pink grapefruit, juicy citrus and a touch of coconut come crashing through the haze.
A generous wheat and rye base gives this DIPA a smooth, chewy body with enough spicy grip to keep things interesting. Moutere hops lay down resin and tropical depth, while Talus and Cryo Pop stack on waves of grapefruit, citrus candy and creamy coconut.
Big, hazy and loud. Like someone dropped a tropical fruit basket into a hop cannon.
Best enjoyed fresh with friends who like their IPAs turned up.

Astro Bock

Dark bread crust, honeyed toast and rich toffee lead the way.
A 9% Doppelbock that’s basically a melanoidin wine in disguise: heaps of melanoidin malt pumps out layers of dark bread crust, honeyed toast and chewy toffee. A three-hop German chorus of Tango, Tettnanger and Hallertau Mittelfrüh adds gentle citrus, herbal and floral spice, while a Munich Helles yeast keeps the fermentation clean and lets all that malt richness shine. Deep, copper, slow-sipping lager luxury. Like a liquid loaf of bread that decided to level up.
Best enjoyed slowly or shared with friends who appreciate malt in full glory.

Beam Blast

Lime, gooseberry and juicy white grape burst straight out of the haze.
This NEIPA is built on seven hits of Nelson Sauvin: mash, kettle, whirlpool, three dry hops in the tank and a final shot of Nelson Sauvin hop oil in the BBT. We used three different T90 lots, advanced hop pellets like Cryo and CGX, plus two types of hop oil to push Nelson flavor from every possible angle.
Expect everything Nelson Sauvin does best: lime zest, gooseberry, white grape, tropical fuzz and a bright wine-like pop that beams straight through the haze. Best enjoyed fresh with friends!

Light Ray

Zesty lime, juicy stonefruit and a touch of dank tropical hop flavor.
A rye-loaded base brings a subtle spicy bite and a smooth, slightly slick mouthfeel that keeps things interesting. Motueka, Rakau and Mosaic stack in layers of citrus, peach and tropical depth, boosted by an extra hit of aroma.
Low in ABV, big on attitude. Rye and hops high-fiving all the way through the glass.
Perfect for easy sessions and sharing with friends.

Maple Bourbon Sponge Cake

Sticky maple, warm vanilla and a smooth bourbon glow.
Rich Canadian maple syrup soaked into a fluffy malt base, splashed with bourbon for a gentle boozy edge of caramel and oak, then finished with warm Mexican vanilla sweetness.
Like a sponge cake that wandered into a bourbon bar and never quite made it back, in the best possible way.
