Tonka Creme Brulee Demolitionist

Pastry Stout 10%

440ml 8 49

Moersleutel Heavy Duties Tonka Creme Brûlée Demolitionist is a super deluxe triple mashed pastry stout you could easily call a dessert. Earlier this year, we brewed the Eureka Creme Brûlée Stout, which both our team and the Guild Members loved a lot and we couldn’t wait to see what our buddy Willy would think. Of course, we tweaked the recipe a bit. This time, we added a hefty dose of tonka beans and even more vanilla, sourced from Papua New Guinea, bringing notes of bourbon, dates, and cookie dough. And naturally, a touch of brown sugar was a must for that authentic crème brûlée vibe. For a little extra kick, we threw in some dark roasted coffee, while English yeast adds a layered, light fruity edge. And yes, it’s triple mashed, making it almost as thick as the real deal. So sit back and enjoy this one. Cheers!

Moersleutel Heavy Duties Tonka Crème Brûlée Demolitionist – Pastry Stout 10%

Dessert-Level Decadence. Engineered to Demolish.

Moersleutel Heavy Duties Tonka Crème Brûlée Demolitionist is a super deluxe triple mashed pastry stout that blurs the line between beer and dessert. Thick, rich, and unapologetically indulgent, this stout is built for those who believe sweetness, depth, and texture should be taken seriously.

Earlier this year, we brewed Eureka Crème Brûlée Stout, which quickly became a favorite among our team and Guild Members alike. Naturally, we couldn’t resist pushing the concept even further — and we were curious to see what our friend Willy would think. The result is a re-engineered, upgraded, and fully demolition-grade version of that beloved stout.

The Craft Behind the Demolitionist

Triple Mash, Tonka Beans & Vanilla Precision

This pastry stout is all about layered sweetness, controlled richness, and technical brewing discipline.

Tonka Beans: Deep Dessert Complexity

A generous dose of tonka beans adds:

  • Bourbon-like warmth

  • Date and raisin sweetness

  • Almond and marzipan notes

  • Cookie dough depth

Tonka brings richness without cloying heaviness, elevating the crème brûlée concept.

Papua New Guinea Vanilla: Extra Indulgence

We increased the vanilla dosage using vanilla sourced from Papua New Guinea, contributing:

  • Creamy vanilla custard character

  • Subtle spice

  • Soft sweetness reminiscent of pastry cream

Crème Brûlée Essentials

To nail that classic dessert profile, we added:

  • Brown sugar – for caramelized sweetness

  • Dark roasted coffee – a subtle bitterness and roasted edge

  • English yeast – introducing a light fruity layer that keeps things balanced

And of course, the beer is triple mashed, resulting in a body that’s almost spoonable.

Tasting Experience

Aroma: Sweet, Warm & Dessert-Driven

The aroma explodes with:

  • Vanilla custard

  • Caramelized sugar

  • Tonka bean warmth

  • Coffee roast

  • Soft fruity esters

It smells like a freshly torched crème brûlée — with an edge.

Flavor Profile: Rich, Sweet & Intensely Layered

Each sip delivers:

  • Burnt sugar and caramel

  • Vanilla cream and custard

  • Tonka bean complexity (bourbon, dates, cookie dough)

  • Dark roasted coffee bitterness

  • Light fruity notes from English yeast

Despite its sweetness, the beer remains surprisingly balanced.

Mouthfeel & Finish: Thick, Creamy & Luxurious

  • Extremely full-bodied

  • Smooth and velvety

  • Dense, dessert-like texture

  • Long, warming finish with lingering vanilla and caramel

At 10% ABV, this stout is indulgent yet controlled.
