Moersleutel Heavy Duties Tonka Crème Brûlée Demolitionist – Pastry Stout 10%
Dessert-Level Decadence. Engineered to Demolish.
Moersleutel Heavy Duties Tonka Crème Brûlée Demolitionist is a super deluxe triple mashed pastry stout that blurs the line between beer and dessert. Thick, rich, and unapologetically indulgent, this stout is built for those who believe sweetness, depth, and texture should be taken seriously.
Earlier this year, we brewed Eureka Crème Brûlée Stout, which quickly became a favorite among our team and Guild Members alike. Naturally, we couldn’t resist pushing the concept even further — and we were curious to see what our friend Willy would think. The result is a re-engineered, upgraded, and fully demolition-grade version of that beloved stout.
The Craft Behind the Demolitionist
Triple Mash, Tonka Beans & Vanilla Precision
This pastry stout is all about layered sweetness, controlled richness, and technical brewing discipline.
Tonka Beans: Deep Dessert Complexity
A generous dose of tonka beans adds:
-
Bourbon-like warmth
-
Date and raisin sweetness
-
Almond and marzipan notes
-
Cookie dough depth
Tonka brings richness without cloying heaviness, elevating the crème brûlée concept.
Papua New Guinea Vanilla: Extra Indulgence
We increased the vanilla dosage using vanilla sourced from Papua New Guinea, contributing:
-
Creamy vanilla custard character
-
Subtle spice
-
Soft sweetness reminiscent of pastry cream
Crème Brûlée Essentials
To nail that classic dessert profile, we added:
-
Brown sugar – for caramelized sweetness
-
Dark roasted coffee – a subtle bitterness and roasted edge
-
English yeast – introducing a light fruity layer that keeps things balanced
And of course, the beer is triple mashed, resulting in a body that’s almost spoonable.
