Indulgence 26 is a meticulously composed barrel-aged stout blend, created exclusively for Moersleutel Guild members and released as part of the August 2025 Guild Box.

This beer represents patience, precision, and privilege — a blend of four distinct stouts, matured over extended periods in two exceptional barrel types, with part of the blend further elevated through long-term contact with KRAK chocolate.

This is indulgence reserved for those closest to the brewery.

The Craft Behind Indulgence 26

Four Stouts. Two Barrel Types. One Exclusive Blend.

Each component of Indulgence 26 was aged separately to allow full expression before blending.

Sazerac Rye Barrels – 20 Months

Two of the stouts rested for 20 months in Sazerac Rye barrels, contributing:

  • Spicy rye warmth

  • Dry, structured character

  • Subtle peppery depth

  • Elegant barrel-driven complexity

These barrels bring tension and definition to the blend.

Heaven Hill Bourbon Barrels – 20 Months

Another portion of the blend matured for 20 months in Heaven Hill bourbon barrels, delivering:

  • Classic bourbon sweetness

  • Vanilla and caramel richness

  • Soft oak and warmth

This forms the smooth, indulgent backbone of the beer.

KRAK Chocolate Aging – 18 Months

Part of the blend spent 18 months with KRAK chocolate, adding:

  • Deep cocoa richness

  • Refined chocolate bitterness

  • Layered roast and luxury depth

Rather than sweetness, the chocolate contributes structure and elegance.
