As spring is upon us, it is time for the newest Indulgence. Crafted with great care and aged to perfection, this blend has been carefully selected to bring you something truly unique. With an out of the box grain bill and a combination of luxurious barrels, this beer will take you on a journey through different layers of aroma, taste and complexity.
The thick imperial stout base, made with spelt malts, sets the stage for a loving synergy between wood and beer. The Willett Bourbon barrels bring an aroma that is full of caramel and vanilla, alongside hints of coconut and oak. The Tawny port barrels add some earthiness and notes of red fruits. While the Carcavelos barrels shine with some aromas of dried fruits, raisins and Tobacco leaves.
The mouthfeel is thick and luxurious. Caramel and red-wine flavors now take the stage and fade into dark chocolate. The oaky tannins bring another layer of complexity before it finishes with the warming booziness of the Willett Bourbon. The finish is long and dry.
